4th of July

As always, we spent our 4th of July weekend up in Taylor with the fam. We had an awesome weekend! We got out of the heat and got to watch some great rodeos! We had some good friends that we watched rope in Springerville, ShowLow, and Taylor's rodeo. Saturday morning we got up and fought the crowd to go watch the ShowLow parade. It was a very long parade, but the kids enjoyed it! We spent the rest of the day watching barrel racing (of course!!) and eating! My parents made us Hawian Hay Stacks! They are so good!! Then it was off to the Taylor 4th of July Rodeo!!

Kids waiting for the ShowLow Parade to start.

Mike and I with our kids. Getting ready to watch the rodeo.

My Grandpa Hunt always helps out with the ticket taking at the rodeo!

My Mom decided to make all of her grandchildren matching shirts for the rodeo. I think she went crazy on us!! :) She did a good job, although she only got 5 girl shirts done, and 1 vest for mr. Colby. I think they turned out really cute! But she better start sewing now for next year, if she wants to get one made for all 14 grandkids!! Way to go Mom!!!

My Dad and sister Mindy, waiting for the rodeo to get started. Can you believe that by the time the rodeo started, these bleachers were completely filled!! I think that this year was the largest crowd ever. Taylor puts on a great rodeo!

Ally and Brinley. Brinley didn't like to look at the camara!

Ambria, my niece. She is so dang cute!

Lovely picture of my big sis, Wylenn!! :)

Grandma Venla, my Mom, Wylenn and Dirk.

Smile Briana!

This is where my Dad and Mike spend their time at the rodeo. My Dad has helped with the roping chutes at the rodeo for over 20 years now. Mike has helped out for atleast 12 years. Good thing they have some good reliable help!!!

This is Mike and Jeff Baldwin. Jeff has helped out with the chutes for almost as long as my Dad. He has his sons, Todd and Steven helping out, along with my son Tyler. They make an awesome crew!!!

This picture was way to funny to leave out!! I took it right after they turned off the lights for the fireworks. Ashlyn is so funny!!!

To end a great day, we got to watch an awesome firworks show! Taylor does a pretty good job with their fireworks! My kids love to tell people that their Grandpa Mike and Uncle Dallin help light them off!

The flag didn't light up as well this year as it has in the past, but it's still my favorite part of the show! We had a great time this weekend and can't wait for next year!
