Halloween Fun

We had a very busy Halloween week. We started the week off by having FHE on Monday and we carved a pumpkin. My kids enjoyed playing in the guts of the pumpkin! Tyler thought it was so gross!! The girls are always up for making a mess! Grandma Kim and Marc came down that night and stayed with us.

We had our trunk-or-treat at the church on Wednesday night. We enjoyed some good chilli and corn bread, and got lot's of candy in a short amount of time. Gotta love trunk-or-treats!!! Jolene came out and enjoyed the evening with us, along with Holly Jo, Ed, Kayleb and Cody Jo. We of course met up with Timaree's family there. We're never to far apart on these functions!! :)

My kids got to dress up on Wednesday for a Literature Parade at their school. They had to dress as a character out of a book. Lucky for us, Timaree had a Pocahontas costume and a Harry Potter costume. Which were perfect ideas for my kids, although they didn't want to wear these costumes for Halloween night, so they got to dress up in two different costumes this week.

This is my kids on Halloween night. Tyler just had to be something scary, so he picked out a Ghost Rider costume. Makena decided on a Rodeo Clown for her costume. She is my little cowgirl, she was a rodeo queen last year!! And my little Ashlyn wanted to be a princess, so she picked out a Dorothy costume, only because it had shiny dots all over it!! And she loves the red shoes!

We had alot of fun that night at our house. Grandma and Grandpa Hunt came down with Brendon that day. And Timaree came over with her kids - Morgan, Keegan and Breckyn. Holly Jo, Ed, Nancy, Kayleb, and Cody Jo also came over to go trick-or-treating around our neighborhood. It's was lot's of fun for the kids! What a week this was, and I'm so glad that it's over!!!
